If you are trying to tone up your arms, you may be a little confused by all the contradictions floating around. It may seem as though all the authorities have developed a different approach for getting results.
Unfortunately, even the most well respected experts can give subpar advice. This happens because scientific studies are never clear cut.
After all, even the experts have to go somewhere to get their information. And most information comes from very complex studies done by the brightest of minds. The main problem here is that these studies are almost NEVER clear cut. They are almost always open for interpretation.
So today I plan on clearing up some of the confusion. Here are 4 things to avoid when trying to tone up your arms:
1. Consuming more than 3 grams of fish oil a day. I remember reading an article by a well known fitness expert in which he recommended an intake of 20-30 grams of fish oil for accelerated fat loss. You should NEVER over supplement with fish oil. The excess omega-3 can induce atherosclerosis.
2. Allowing nuts and legumes to stay warm. Put them in the refrigerator because aspergillus, a toxic mold, can grow on nuts and legumes if the conditions are right. The conditions include warmth and humidity. Now this isn’t very likely unless you’re overdoing it, however, a single case of poisoning has the potential to set your sexy arm mission many steps back.
3. Having trans fat. No amount is healthy here, you should avoid any consumption. As proven by Harvard researchers, trans fat kill. And they will do no good for your arms. In fact, they will increase your overall body fat, including arm fat.
4. Staying away from plant sources of saturated fat. Animal fat is what does harm, but plant fat can do a body good. Coconut is a great example of a saturated plant fat that is very healthy for the female body.
As science constantly evolves, recommendations will change. However, if you really want to tone arms, you have to keep on moving forward despite the changes. After all, the number one thing that will determine your success is an ability to keep on going despite the small stuff.
Also, make sure you don’t wait to act on this advice. If you wait too long, you will forget what you have learned.
